Latymer Community Church

Follow Jesus, love all people and make disciples in Ladbroke Grove

Prayer

Prayer has always been at the heart of Latymer as one of our values is to be prayerful. At this time it's more important than ever to be prayerful and we are loving getting together via the internet for daily prayer from Mondays to Fridays at 12 noon. To do this please go to www.zoom.us and download the app,  and get in touch with us here to be given the meeting code.

We are finding reading through the Psalms as a church so helpful, as they both lament what is wrong with our world and celebrate who God is. There are some great prayers that have been written as a response to meeting God in and through the virus. Click here  for a beautiful poem written by one of  our Latymer people. These liturgies of hope  are also really relevant to our current situation, and the Evangelical Alliance has a new prayer each week here

At our recent 24/1 prayer time we used
this resource to pray for the Coronavirus, and were also encouraged to do a prayer walk here. We continue to pray against racism and this resource written by Latymer people can help you.
